Video showing a fan-built model of Neil Peart and his drum kit (circa "Grace Under Pressure"), made from whiskey bottle caps, tin can lids, and shishkabob skewers. I doff my tuque to the guy's craft and dedication.

And Geddy Lee, what, plays the bass and the keyboards at the same time?

These guys are way too busy.

Michael van Eekhout
and Alex is the band's slacker ... just guitar? what a bum!

Congrats on signage! Have you scheduled book signings and B&N or Borders yet?

Re: Michael van Eekhout
To be fair, Alex also triggers samples with his feet. But compared to the other two guys, he is a slacker.

No book signings scheduled. I doubt I actually will do any. I remember some of the authors I scheduled events for at Waldenbooks, sitting there all alone behind a stack of their books and trying not to look bored or despairing.

Re: Michael van Eekhout
I gotta admit that the only signing I scheduled at Bookstar that I even gave a rat's ass about was Octavia Butler's. And I made damn certain that there were fans ... not throngs of them, but there were fans.

The woman actually took the bus to and from the store.

Woo for signing contracts! Hooray!

I signed mine (and took the picture) at The Cheesecake Factory.

Signing contracts - yay!

Making kids run to my laptop with headphones while yelling "Not Rush again, Mom!" - worth getting up early for.

Back in my day we listened to "Lakeside Park" ten times a day, and we liked it or else!
